Bradley Nightingale, aged 29, from Bloxwich, Walsall, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his friend Jake Mills in Cheslyn Hay.

The victim, Jake Mills, was 34 years old at the time of his death last year. His murder has had a significant impact on the local community in Cheslyn Hay.

The sentencing took place on Friday 19 June at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Nightingale was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 17 years to serve behind bars following his conviction for murder.

The trial and subsequent sentencing were conducted at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, where evidence presented led to Nightingale’s conviction.
