A man has been arrested on suspicion of making a record of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of collection or recording of information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism contrary to Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
The man was arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act on Sunday 13 September, at approx. 0710am, at his home address in south-east London.
He was taken into custody at a south-London police station and bailed later the same day to a date in mid-October.
