A woman found guilty of grooming and having sexual relations with an underage child has been sentenced to two years and nine months imprisonment.

Kelly Wolf, 28 of Raynton Road, Enfield, was found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court, of two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, on Thursday 15 March.

She was also placed under a sexual harm prevention order for a minimum of 10 years on Monday, 23 April.
At conviction, the court heard how Wolf, who was 26 at the time of the offences, groomed the 14-year-old victim between 13 September and 24 September 2016.
Officers were alerted to the relationship on 25 September 2016, when they received a call saying that the victim had gone missing.
The victim’s parents informed officers that they believed their son was having a sexual relationship with Wolf. This was later confirmed by a friend of their son, who approached the parents when he found out he was missing.
The friend also told officers he saw the two having sex in a park.
When the victim allergy returned home he was questioned by officers about the nature of his relationship with Wolf, but refused to comment. Officers left the victims house and arranged to speak to him in a few days.
The victim and his mother attended Edmonton police station the next day where he admitted he had been having a sexual relationship with Wolf after she had started grooming him via text messages.
Officers arrested Wolf on 26 September 2016; she was subsequently released on bail.
She was charged on 14 July 2017, with two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence. She was bailed to appear at Wood Green Crown Court.
Detective Constable Rob Bushell, from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command, said: “These sorts of crimes are rarely reported to the police, as male victims often feel scared to speak to us about being victims of grooming.
“I hope that today’s sentencing will urge other boys to come forward if they have been a victim of this type of crime.”
