A man has been charged with murder after a woman died from her injuries following a fire in Islington.

Police, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the London Fire Brigade were called on Thursday, 5 July at around 2.0am to a report of a fire at a flat in Noll House, Corker Walk, N7.

A 43-year-old woman inside the address had suffered serious burns and was taken to a north London hospital and then to a specialist burns hospital.

The investigation is being led by detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.
