Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and any available footage after a collision involving a grey Mercedes Sprinter Amazon delivery van and a blue Honda NSC pizza delivery motorcycle on Sunday 28 June.

The incident took place at approximately 9.55pm on an access lane connecting Station Road and Dudnance Lane in Pool, near Redruth.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The rider’s next of kin have been informed.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the access lane between Station Road and Dudnance Lane was closed for a thorough investigation.

Police officers have been examining the collision site to gather evidence and understand the circumstances that led to the crash.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage and has not yet contacted police to come forward.

Witnesses are asked to call 101 or visit the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting log reference 954 of 28 June when providing information.
